HW - Wednesday, 4/22

Happy Earth Day!




PARENTS:

  • Parents, please use the following link and review the practice test with your child: http://californiatac.org/practice-and-training/index.html (click on the green box on the far right titled "Student Interface Practice and Training Test"). It's important that you (parents) see what this test is going to be like as it's completely different from the previous STAR tests.
    • It is IMPORTANT that they practice the THIRD BOX titled "G4 ELA PERFORMANCE TEST."
    • They can ALSO practice the "G4 Math Test" for Friday!
  • Tomorrow, we will be continuing the SBAC tests: ELA and  ELA Performance (if they're not done with both).
  • The SBAC test schedule looks like this:
    • 4/21, Tuesday - ELA Test / ELA Performance Set-Up Activity
    • 4/22, Wednesday - ELA Test / ELA Performance Test
    • 4/23, Thursday - Continue ELA Performance Test and ELA Test (if not finished)
    • 4/24, Friday - Math Test
    • 4/27, Monday - Math Performance Set-Up Activity / Math Performance Test
    • 4/28-5/1, 5/2 are make-up days
  • Because of testing, homework will be limited.
  • SPELL-A-THON corrected tests are being returned as they're corrected. PLEASE get sponsors or donors! All proceeds benefit Ruskin's Science Lab, the only one in the Berryessa School District!
  • Science Fair projects and boards were due yesterday! GET THEM IN!

2.  Reading Is Cool - 30 minutes
Reading Goal of the Month:  Most PAGES Read
Keep track of the books you read daily by writing them down on the Reading Log, get your parent or guardian to initial, total your pages read, and turn it in  Monday, May 4 ...Receive a Prize!
Remember: Read your Accelerated Reader Book (selected with your ZPD in mind) and take the Quiz in class.

- WORKBOOK pages none
- REVIEW California SBAC test with your parents
