Short and Sweet for the Weekend

Thank you to the parents who showed up for Back to School Night.
Needless to say, we teachers were exhaustingly happy it was over.
Now comes the cleaning and packing... (and final grading!)

I'm going to keep it simple this weekend.

No HW other than

  • TenMarks.com math review for the SBAC
  • Practice for the SBAC (Language Arts and Math)
    • Click on this link
    • Choose the graphic/image at the far right titled "Student Interface Practice and Training Tests"
    • Click SIGN IN (no need to input any info!)
    • In the next window, select grade 4 from the pull down menu and click on Yes
    • Do the top two tests (ELA)
A friendly reminder that SBAC testing falls on the following days:
May 8-10    Language Arts
May 15-16     Math

                Have a Great Weekend!

                Homework for the break* is...

READ WITH YOUR CHILD EVERYDAY for 15 MINUTES!

Get to know how they read and what they enjoy reading.

                Take turns reading.

(It's not really the reading that matters, right? It's the quality time you spend with them while reading.)

I will send out TenMarks Math review work that is purely optional but should assist them in preparation for the upcoming test period. This will probably go out to you, along with their Login and Password, in an email on Monday. So, enjoy the weekend.

*Also, Science Fair projects are due on the Tuesday we get back!
