Wednesday, 10/23

Parents:
  • Due to the high temps forecasted for Thursday and Friday, I will keep my door open at lunch for those students who would rather stay inside.
  • Keep studying your Spell-A-Thon words and collecting your pledges! Spell-A-Thon Test is this Friday.
  • Please have your child enter in the TITLE/s of the book/s they are reading as well as the NUMBER of PAGES they read that day (for at least 30 minutes) in their San Jose Sharks Reading Is Cool monthly reading tracker. They could opt to read other material like magazines, guidebooks, etc. but they should still log them in the reading log.
  • Monday started the Spell-A-Thon week. Students have received their spelling words and pledge sheets already. Please participate by taking the pledge sheet to work or community groups. This helps support the PTA which, in turn, helps support our classroom!
    • Please be aware: #43 had a letter cut off in the printing process. It should read: resourceful
