Parents:
- We began the San Jose Sharks Reading Is Cool monthly reading tracker last week. The reading log was in the Wednesday Folder. Please have your child enter in the TITLE/s of the book/s they are reading as well as the NUMBER of PAGES they read that day (for at least 30 minutes). They could opt to read other material like magazines, guidebooks, etc. but they should log them in the reading log.
- October Scholastic Book Orders (paper and online) are due Friday, 10/11
- Wednesday: P.E.
- Thursday: Music; SPIRIT DAY: Think Pink
- Friday: P.E.
- Reminder: Please bring an old t-shirt to wear for art

- We will finish the rest of the PBS NOVA video, The Next Pompeii, upon my return. It recounts Vesuvius's explosion and destruction to the nearby resort town of Pompeii.
