7. Language Arts - First Draft of "Letter to an Author"
- 1st Paragraph: Introduction ("Hello, my name is...", "I am one of your biggest fans..."); Why you enjoy his/her books
- 2nd Paragraph: Choose a favorite book, moment and/or character by the author. Using supporting details from the author's books, explain why it/he/she was your favorite. *REMEMBER to cite examples from the book or to use supporting reasons/details*
- 3rd Paragraph: Prepare between 3 to 5 questions for the author
- We will be working on the Greeting and Closing tomorrow
- Try to find the author's mailing address. Write it down if you're able to find it and bring it to school.
