Parents:
- We began the San Jose Sharks Reading Is Cool monthly reading tracker last week. The reading log was in the Wednesday Folder. Please have your child enter in the TITLE/s of the book/s they are reading as well as the NUMBER of PAGES they read that day (for at least 30 minutes). They could opt to read other material like magazines, guidebooks, etc. but they should log them in the reading log.
- The Earthquake Drill was mostly a success. Students ducked, covered, and evacuated quickly. The only "ding" we received was that our evacuation point needed to be farther from the solar panels. (So we scooted back.)
- The students have completed painting their papier mache Fall projects. Jack O' Lanterns and Skulls go home on 10/31. Large and small Pumpkins can stay on their desks until Thanksgiving Break.
