Parents:
- We began the San Jose Sharks Reading Is Cool monthly reading tracker last week. The reading log was in the Wednesday Folder. Please have your child enter in the TITLE/s of the book/s they are reading as well as the NUMBER of PAGES they read that day (for at least 30 minutes). They could opt to read other material like magazines, guidebooks, etc. but they should log them in the reading log.
- October Scholastic Book Orders (paper and online) are due Friday, 10/11
- Friday: P.E.; PTA Movie Night
- Reminder: Please bring an old t-shirt to wear for art

- We have finished the videos on the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami as well as the volcanoes/calderas near Pompeii and Naples. We will next view the NOVA video, Killer Landslides, which will look at the 2004 Oso (WA) landslide and how landslides happen.
