- Wednesday Folders go out tomorrow. Sorry for the delay but I wanted to make sure that some more graded work gets to you.
- Part of the class started building their Lego name tags today. We will continue through Friday.
- Today's fire drill was a success. Since we had The Great Shake Out last week, the earthquake drill was canceled.
- Yearbook sales have started! Best time to buy them is now because they're only $20 AND you get to personalize your back cover. Prices go up scarily to $30 after 10/31.
- Monday, 10/31 (All Hallows' Eve):
- Halloween Parade will begin at 8:40 a.m. on the black top/basketball courts. There will only be one parade, and we are requesting that parents please WAIT AT THE LUNCH TABLES while the classes are moving to their spots. Violent costumes are not allowed. Students who cannot participate will be provided an alternative activity monitored by a staff member.
- We will have a brief treat exchange in the afternoon. It's not a party but just an exchange of goodies before we go home. Treats must be purchased at a store and cannot be homemade. You may also provide alternatives like pencils, little toys/trinkets, etc. If you would like to bring treats to share, please remember we have 29 students. Thank you!
- We have started two Reading Log programs for October: Book It!, sponsored by Pizza Hut, and Reading is Cool, sponsored by the San Jose Sharks. Students who complete the monthly reading log get a coupon for a free personal pizza and entered for possible prizes from the Sharks.
- Congratulations to Andrea, who had the winning design for our t-shirt! (We are the "Popularly Peaceful Pandas")
