Weekend Stuff

• Thank you to those who showed up for Open House. Now the countdown officially begins: 19 more school days until summer vacation!
• Next Friday is our Field Trip to Happy Hollow with our Little Buddies (Mrs. Coan's class). Accompanying us will be the following classes: Mrs. Beltran, Mrs. Kawasaki, Mr. Lee, and Ms. Calara. Forms went home today.
• We are requesting an $8 donation to cover the bus and admission; those who donated early in the year, you are covered.
• Students should wear their class t-shirt, have on comfortable shoes, and bring their lunch, preferably in a disposable container/bag. There is a cafeteria (the Picnic Basket Restaurant) there so if your child prefers to buy their lunch, they will be able to do so.
• Math Topic 14 Performance Task is due Monday. Test on Tuesday.
• By the Great Horn Spoon activities are due Monday as a ticket to leave at the end of the day. I will be giving the students time in class to confer with each other and answer the questions.
• Next week, District Testing starts which will run through the first week of June.
• Science Fair presentations continue through next week. I will leave it up to the students (who brought their boards home) if they want to bring them back. They do not have to, but they must talk about what they did.
