HW - Wednesday, 9/23

Parents:

• Happy Fall everyone!
• First SPIRIT Day is tomorrow, 9/24: DISNEY DAY
• Box Tops Collection has begun. Due Date is next Wednesday, 9/30.
• This Friday is the first day of Science Lab.
• More events were added to the Upcoming Dates tab on the HW Blog.
• Chaperones (group leaders) and field instructors (parent volunteers who read the papers they provide to the students) will be needed for our upcoming field trip to Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge in Alviso on 10/21. Training dates are available next week and another before our field trip. Contact me if you are interested.
• Our class t-shirt has been chosen! We will be the LUCKY SNOW LEOPARDS and Joanie's picture was selected as the cover art for the light blue shirt with gold lettering (barring production issues). We will be using Insane Ink, a longstanding class business at Piedmont Hills High School, which is staffed by former Ruskin students. :)
