HW - Monday, 9/28

Parents:

• Box Tops Collection has begun. Due Date is Wednesday, 9/30.
• More events were added to the Upcoming Dates tab on the HW Blog.
• Chaperones (group leaders) and field instructors (parent volunteers who read the papers they provide to the students) will be needed for our upcoming field trip to Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge in Alviso on 10/21. A training date is available THIS WEDNESDAY, 9/30 from 4-6 p.m. I have registered for 5 PARENTS to attend. They can easily accommodate more, if interested. Contact me if you are interested.
• Our class t-shirt has been chosen! We will be the LUCKY SNOW LEOPARDS and Joanie's picture was selected as the cover art for the light blue shirt with gold lettering (barring production issues). The company we will be using is Insane Ink, a longstanding class business at Piedmont Hills High School, which is staffed by former Ruskin students. :)
• If you missed the supermoon lunar eclipse like I did, I'll happily join you for the next reoccurrence in 2033. You just have to remind me a week before it happens. :)
