Parents,
TenMarks (https://www.tenmarks.com) assignments are extra practice for your child.
They are HIGHLY recommended as they:
1) are done on the computer, like the Common Core test will be in April/May
2) present questions similar to what your child may see on the Common Core test (i.e., free response instead of multi-choice every time)
3) provide practice for the computer skills your child will need for the Common Core test
The NEW four assignments are ending on September 23 are (Common Core standards follow the dashes):
Rounding Whole Numbers Using Representations - 4.NBT.3
Rounding Whole Numbers - 4.NBT.3
Addition and Subtraction Using Standard Algorithm - 4.NBT.4
Estimating Sums and Differences - 4.NBT.3
**As of Sunday, no more than 3 students have completed any of the above assignments.**
To help with the Math Test Re-Take, the five REVIEW assignments ending on Monday and Tuesday are:
State Numbers: Expanded, Word, Visual, and Standard Forms - 4.NBT.2
Express Numbers: Standard or Expanded Form to Words - 4.NBT.2
Express Numbers: Standard or Word Form to Expanded Form - 4.NBT.2
Comparing Whole Numbers - 4.NBT.2
Ordering Numbers - 4.NBT.2
**As of Sunday, no more than 17 students have completed any of the above assignments.**
Finally, 11 students have not accessed their TenMarks accounts. I will be contacting their parents today.
