HW - Tuesday, 9/23

PARENTS:  

• REGARDING NEW TenMarks ASSIGNMENTS: Please do NOT allow your child to take any of the new multiplication/division assignments. We started them today, and I noticed that there were some trouble spots. They were meant for practice over the next couple of weeks. As a side note, I added the previous lessons as a review due to some parent requests. Again, they are for practice and do not directly affect their math grade. These review lessons "expire" in late November.
• All school related work taken home needs to be brought to school the next day. This applies to textbooks, workbooks, journals, and worksheets just to name a few. This does NOT apply to long-term projects (unless I have allowed them to work in class), returned tests/quizzes, etc.
• We started Grammar work today and will have a brief quiz this Friday on all the grammar concepts covered this week. This will continue for as long as we have Grammar practice this year.

Keep track of the books you read daily by writing them down on the Reading Log, get your parent or guardian to initial, total your pages read, and turn it in  October 1 ...Receive a Prize!
Remember: Read your Accelerated Reader Book (selected with your ZPD in mind) and take the Quiz in class.
