Weekend...Stuff

  • Mr. Amutan will be prepping for report cards on Monday. He will be on campus but will have a substitute.
  • If you haven't scheduled a parent-teacher conference date and time, please click on the tab (see above) and email me with a date and time.
  • Bank of America Free Museum Day on Saturday. Must show a BofA debit or credit card. Click here to check for participating museums and rules. Some museums include de Young (SF), Chabot Space and Science Center (Oakland), Tech Museum (San Jose), and The California Museum (Sacramento).
  • Re-opening of the Chinese Historical Society of America Museum (SF). I read somewhere that it was FREE this whole weekend but their website doesn't show it. But admission is FREE this Sunday, since it is the first Sunday of the month.
  •  DAYLIGHT SAVINGS!!!  Turn BACK your clocks at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. (Who am I kidding? Your tech devices probably already do it for you.) But this means it will get dark sooner...
  • Monday:
    • There will be Monday Morning Flagpole.
    • We will also have a Digital Citizenship Assembly from 9:15 - 9:45 a.m.
    • TFK quiz (Thanks, Avneet, for catching this omission!)
    • Wordly Wise Packet (Lessons 1-10) will be corrected and collected.
    • Please complete for Monday: Election 2016 pages 13, 15-17, 19
      • For pages 16-17, students will need to do some research online.
  • Tuesday:
    • Due: Math text pgs. 170-171; 172-173
    • Wordly Wise Lesson 1-10 Midterm Tests (two reading passages and 12 questions per passage)
  • Wednesday:
    • Hailing from "North of the Border," come and meet Ruskin's new social worker, Aleece Nyland, talk about her role at our school as well as one of the all-time favorite parent topics (bullying) at the next PTA meeting.

  • Thursday:
