NOTES:
  • All the HW (except for the Reading Comp and Spelling Activities) were started in class, and the students were given time (about 1 hour, cumulatively) to work on them.
  • Spelling activities are just different ways for students to learn, apply, and study their spelling words. It is recommended that they should do one activity each day. However, I know that busy schedules sometimes prevent this, so just make sure all four activities are completed by Friday.
  • It has come to my attention that a good number of students have already done the reading comprehension pages, but there remains some that have not. I will continue to use the book as it's good practice despite their seeing the stories before. In about two weeks, we'll be on the next book.
  • Back-To-School Night is this Thursday, September 19:
    • 6:00-6:30 p.m. (grades 3-4)
    • 6:30-6:45 p.m. Parents' meeting in Multi
    • 6:45-7:15 p.m. (grades K-2)
  • We will be working on culminating activities for Stone Fox this week.
  • Wordly Wise Books (Level 4) just arrived. We started them today. We will have daily homework and a test on Friday.
  • Next week will be our first week of the Fitness Center. Date and Time still needs to be determined.
  • Our first (all-day) field trip is booked (Wednesday, October 30) but we need A LOT of parent volunteers to make it happen! More info coming...
