Parents:

• We will be finishing up the class novel, Dear Mr. Henshaw, tomorrow. Culminating activity will be writing to their favorite author.
• This week, we started a Financial Literacy unit via Everfi on their Clever accounts. They will learn about such topics like savings, careers, salaries, credit, etc. They can continue this at home at their leisure.
• Upcoming Dates
• Friday - EARLY DISMISSAL (1:00 p.m.); P.E.
• Ms. Wang's Music Class "Informance" (Performance during school time in Room J-2) will be on Feb. 13 (8:35-9:00 a.m.) along with Mr. Truong's students.
• February 17-21 - NO SCHOOL (Presidents' Week)

• Wordly Wise Lesson 8e due Friday; Lesson 5-8 crossword due Friday. Lesson 8 Test on Friday. Refer to the inside of the book's cover for the online access code to practice activities. You may need to create a free account to access the rest of the online lessons (#s 8-20).

• Science Fair permission slips went home today. Return the form ASAP. Participation is mandatory.
• Start thinking about your Science Fair project (Experiment, Model, Demonstration, and Invention; Collection shouldn't be selected as it's geared towards the lower grades).
