- Ruskin PTA is having a fundraiser tomorrow at Ono Hawaiian Grill (Hostetter and Old Oakland Road, near Panera) from 3-9 p.m. You need a flyer so 50% of your purchase will be donated to Ruskin!
- TOMORROW, we will have a Valentine's exchange so if your child would like to exchange cards (handmade ones are cool though not required) then make sure they bring them on Friday, February 12. If you would like to bring treats as well, please make sure those are not homemade! (This event is not to replace lunch!)

- Cinderella book reminders:
- Did you plan out your pages BEFORE you glued or wrote them in?
- Keep the book clean so it looks presentable. It's made of paper so it will absorb almost anything.
- Dialogue needs to be separated into new, indented lines when a different person speaks
- Make it sound like a story and not just a "checklist of the elements"
- It's gonna be a long story. So if you think you're done, you're probably not. Make sure you describe the settings, characters (major and minor), the characters' emotions and actions, etc.
- Have different people read your second draft. Listen to their critiques. Think: "How can I make it better?"
