HW - Monday, 4/20

PARENTS:

• Parents, please use the following link and review the practice test with your child: http://californiatac.org/practice-and-training/index.html (click on the green box on the far right titled "Student Interface Practice and Training Test"). It's important that you (parents) see what this test is going to be like as it's completely different from the previous STAR tests.
• It is IMPORTANT that they practice the SECOND BOX titled "G4 ELA PRACTICE TEST."
• Tomorrow, we will be starting the SBAC tests (ELA, ELA Performance, Math, Math Performance). Performance tests will be given AFTER students do a set-up activity as a class.
• The SBAC test schedule looks like this:
• 4/21, Tuesday - ELA Test / ELA Performance Set-Up Activity
• 4/22, Wednesday - ELA Test / ELA Performance Test
• 4/23, Thursday - ELA Performance Test
• 4/24, Friday - Math Test
• 4/27, Monday - Math Performance Set-Up Activity / Math Performance Test
• 4/28-5/1, 5/2 are make-up days
• Because of testing, homework will be limited.
• SPELL-A-THON took place this coming Monday. PLEASE get sponsors or donors! All proceeds benefit Ruskin's Science Lab, the only one in the Berryessa School District!
• Science Fair projects and boards are due tomorrow!

Keep track of the books you read daily by writing them down on the Reading Log, get your parent or guardian to initial, total your pages read, and turn it in  Monday, May 4 ...Receive a Prize!
Remember: Read your Accelerated Reader Book (selected with your ZPD in mind) and take the Quiz in class.
