  • THANK YOU to all who donated to Ruskin's "Pennies for Patients" drive. It is with great hope that we have helped change many young lives for the better.
  • Upcoming Dates
    • Thursday - Music
    • Friday - Science Lab; P.E.
    • Ms. Wang's Music Class "Informance" (Performance during school time in Room J-2) will be on Feb. 13 (8:35-9:00 a.m.) along with Mr. Truong's students.
    • UPDATE: Friday, February 14 is an EARLY DISMISSAL DAY (1:00 p.m.)
      • We will not be having a full party that day, but if you would like to bring something store-bought to share with other students (cards, treats, etc.), you are more than welcome to do so.
    • February 17-21 - NO SCHOOL (Presidents' Week)

2.  Language Arts
  • Wordly Wise Lesson 7e due Friday. Lesson 7 Test on Friday. Refer to the inside of the book's cover for the online access code to practice activities. You may need to create a free account to access the rest of the online lessons (#s 7-20). 
  • Scholastic News - pg. 8 due Friday; Close Reading questions due Friday; Quiz on Friday
    • February Reading Logs are due Tuesday, March 3
      • February Challenge = Most pages read
      3.  Math
      • Textbook pgs. 332-333
      • Workbook pgs. 12-5; 12-6; 12-8 to 12-11 (Started in class; Practice only)
      • Topic 13 Test Tomorrow
      4.  History 
      • Unit 4, Lesson 7, pgs. 125-128
      5.  Science
      • Science Fair permission slips went home today. Return the form ASAP. Participation is mandatory.
      • Start thinking about your Science Fair project (Experiment, Model, Demonstration, and Invention; Collection shouldn't be selected as it's geared towards the lower grades).
