Parents:
- NO homework THIS weekend. Math will be due on Tuesday but if they wanted to work on it this weekend, they could have. Going forward, any unfinished work on Friday will be due on the following Monday.
- NO Music classes this week as Mrs. Clements and Ms. Wang make the classes and schedules. Music classes to begin after Labor Day. PLEASE turn in your music registration forms ASAP!!
- THANK YOU to the parents who have turned in their emergency forms. I am only missing three of them.
- I will be emailing the Walden West registration forms this weekend. Please keep an eye out for the email and links.
- If your child wants to participate as a Lunch Helper, a permission slip is needed. They should see the cafeteria lady (Anna) for a copy.
- Also, if your child would like to be a Safety Patrol crossing guard, they can see me as I have a few more permission slips available.
- This coming week:
- Monday: Walden West presentation at Ruskin (for students), 8:45 - 9:30 a.m. in the Multi.
- Tuesday: Back-to-School Night (for 5th graders only), 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. in the classrooms and 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. in the Multi for a Walden West presentation for the parents. I will have a packet for you with important information about upcoming and school year-long events.
- Wednesday: P.E. (dress accordingly). Please return the Wednesday Folder with only signed papers.
- Thursday: Minimum Day, 1:00 p.m. dismissal. Practice Science Camp songs.
- Friday: P.E. (dress accordingly). Little Buddies meet and greet. Practice Science Camp songs.
- We are going to begin a slow and steady diet of homework this coming week.
- Scholastic Book Orders due Friday, 9/7.
