HW - Tuesday, 4/11

  • CONGRATULATIONS to our March San Jose Sharks Reading is Cool winner: ABIGAIL!
  • Friday is a minimum day (1:00 p.m. dismissal). We will also be having a class party. We won a PTA pizza party so we will be using it for that day. (I will be ordering cheese AND pepperoni pizzas.) According to several students, here's what we would like to have for the party next Friday. Please email me if you can contribute. Remember: store-purchased items only. Thank you in advance.

    1.  Read for 30 min.  *April READING LOGS are due Tuesday, 5/2*
    2.  Language Arts
    • Time for Kids - Two Time for Kids magazines this week: Gorilla Patients (double issue) and Your $: A Closer Look. Open magazine quiz will be on Monday, April 24.
    • Tuck Everlasting Test (Open Book) will be on Friday.
    • Cinderella Project - Keep working on your final draft. Check for punctuation and grammar mistakes. Books to be distributed tomorrow to those who look like they're ready. Follow the guidelines. Start typing it using Google Docs and save it to your Google Drive. The Cinderella book's deadline has been extended to TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 12.

      • TEXT pgs. none
      • Science Fair project - EVERYONE has to do one. Projects are due Tuesday, 4/25.
      • Although we are DONE with the textbook, we will do science-related readings, activities, etc. in the coming weeks. The Student Interactive Textbook, a resource students have in their desks, is an excellent resource to use this coming summer and during the 2017-18 school year to review for the 2017-18 State Science Test. I will send them home in this week's Wednesday Folder. The test will officially count for students, Ruskin, and the Berryessa Union School District.
