HW - Thursday, 3/17

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Parents:
  • Tomorrow is our class's time to visit the Book Fair. So if you are interested in picking up any books, tomorrow is the day to do so.
  • This week, students selected and researched colleges and universities as started tasks related to March Madness, college basketball season's championship rounds. Each student have selected two colleges to research and share with the class. If their college team wins the NCAA title, they win a prize. If their college team finishes as the runner-up, they will also win a prize.
  • Science Fair permission slips need to be returned ASAP as it has officially begun.
  • Book Fair will be open from March 14-21. A portion of all sales help support Ruskin's Library.
  • Reminder to those who turned in forms: STEM Night is TOMORROW, March 18.
  • March 23: Our next field trip to the Discovery Museum (via Light Rail) with our Little Buddies. The permission slip has a few notes that are hard to read:
    • "Please send a $5 donation to cover the admission costs. If you donated earlier in the year, please disregard."
    • Regarding Chaperones: "We won't need many." Kindergarten parents usually show up en force to chaperone field trips. Maybe one or two from our class would suffice.
  • Spring Break (No School): March 25 - April 3
  • The next Ruskin Lego Challenge (MARCH 23) and the registration form has been posted: RuskinLUG.blogspot.com. Please register now!
